I thought that I was happy living here below
I thought that I could make it walking on my own
But then, the Spirit whispered, «Friend, there’s so much more»
So I gave my heart to Jesus. He gave a peace like never before!
I didn’t know that I was carrying a heavy load
Until the load that I was carrying was gone
I didn’t know I’d have the strength to walk the narrow road
Until the narrow road I started walking on
I didn’t know the peace, the joy deep down inside
The sense of pure release until He opened up my eyes

Friend, you may be happy, and fully satisfied
As long as life is easy, you’re rolling with the tide
