The Great Insomnia

In you all my hopes I’ve placed
I thought that I could trust
Now I’m here, in this cold sea of shame
castaway for the rest of my life
My mind burns due to the anger
cause I think of what I could have done
and so I started to wander
looking for my holy grail
I don’t know where my imagination ends and the reality starts
I can’t see anymore the colors of today life, I don’t think it’s fault of my
eyes
You know what it means to be faced with a mad man?
Being in front of someone that shakes the foundations of everything you have
built in you,
and the logic of all your construction
Desperate lives forced to face an invisible illness,
tormented by the people’s judgment and by the shame of being wrong
Sometimes a thought clouds me, are the others crazy, or am I crazy?
I don’t know what I’m becoming, I have reached the point of no return
But however I don’t think that I pose a danger yet
