From the time we are born, we’re compelled and informed that dreams are the
fiction of sleep,
Hard to know if it’s true: if your mind plays a trick or if there’s some wisdom
to keep,
And I know in our hearts there are truths we believe though they’ve never
appeared to our eyes,
The unlikeliest things will someday come to pass and our hopes will materialise.
The possible dream — merely shadows of things that will be,
