Did you enjoy the clouds as much as Maggie did this morning?
I don’t know that anybody could
Pointing and laughing at the faces they were forming
Waiting on the rain and feeling good
Did you feel the cool air as those clouds were passing over?
Coming down with autumn in the wind
Showed up right on time here in the middle of October
Feeling like your long-lost closest friend
If I’m dreaming, let me sleep
It all feels so real to me

Hands of time upon us as we watch the fire burning
Flames turn into embers, into ash
And I know nothing I can do can keep the clock from slowly turning
