Malibu Middle at two AM
Sunset brittle cracks under my feet
All these firecracker stars
The ocean fizzle takes over my ears
And in myself I just found
Nothing is holding me back anymore
I look around and all I see are shifting sands
I feel surrounded by these warm and loving hands
I see the breeze above the seas and in my hair
I’ll lay here sinking in the Earth without a care
