Give or Take

But I’m paralyzed with fear
They’ll wind up insincere
Feel so lost inside who am I to give advice
I finally realize only you can live your life
Mistakes can’t be erased
Nd now there’s no escape I’m just a victim of my fate
And time slowly strips away the things that matter in our lives
There is no pleasure without pain
Nothing stays the same for very long
Finally found a way to seize the day and say the words inside my head
The gold weighed more than led and something needed said
Try to live my life, to give and sacrifice
I know that it’s time only I can change inside
A destination nor a place
What you give not what you take
And I finally see the light the world designed around my eyes
As I look back on my life, I think about the ones I left behind
