She carries her teeth in an unmarked pocket
They chatter away like a Sunday market
Got an education but no situation
Out of home hoping that someone take her on
Nailed up by her bed
A cross she no longer bears
Her mother sends
An invitation home again
Building so defiant protest against nothing
Add proof to existence but still they’re nothing
Passes by the mirror but it ain’t down to shame
Just not want to take a look could be to blame
Now so far from home
Still as close to the bone
Th sharpest knife
Interfred with her life
Lonely’s her keepsake
