Excuse me Dr. Lumpy I’m a traveling one
This two-toned minus white night life is the world I come from
And I have here in a bag of wisdom truth-saying seeds
The flowers of which, however, will lead to belief in what we see
Though I have no need for vision, I can sing in color
So many lives lived with eyes closed
Now you must show the path that
shame the bath that washed out my ink
So I can chase to meet the beast I seek even with springs on my feet
And when reflection lies at different times there’s one thing left to do
I cast sight on my mind ignoring the tides that render pale-face views
Cause I have no need for vision I can sing in color
An inward sigh will paint you in every shade desired
Your wandering eyes will fail you tightened shut or open wide
