Natural Habitat

Eagles and lobsters and donkeys and whales were reared in that odd park
finding themselves in a small purple cage they hope to go back home
Sailing o’er the ocean
turning toward the West against the hoar
Mushrooms and cheese and the green bill of fare that’s all, in our boat
reaching the coasts of some strange unknown land it’s hard, before night falls
if I cannot hang on
leave me here on the sand
where the wind roars
Turtles and fishes and great fat bear they’re starving in a hole
but if sea-sickness will strike all your man be quiet, don’t sound the alarm
holy and glorious Neptune lead us to our homeland,
where my dog barks
Roaming in the desert with a fox
now that it’s done, we can return
