Playground

Sunny day, I’d like to play
Out-side, and are we going?
Cuz my friend Kate, she’s never late
And she brought her sister Zoe
Parking cars and monkey bars are all I see now.
My friends are here, nothing to fear
When I’m ready to go anywhere
I wish I could go to the playground.
They fixed the slide, it’s a real smooth ride
And we never miss a landing
So Let’s call Bryce, this is paradise
And if Garrett came, it’d be nice.
Today I learned ‘bout taking turns
do we really have to leave?
Cuz here’s the thing, I’m on a swing
and I’m ready to go anywhere
I wish I could go to the playground
Owen and Max, they’ll have our backs
As we tag our friends and they freeze
We’re not done, till we see the sun
Blow a kiss goodnight to the breeze.
Loading cars and glowing stars are all I see now.
When Mommy calls, my daddy stalls
I’m ready to go anywhere
