Weather the Weather

It looks like we’re in for some nasty weather
The rain — it always seems to get me down
Sitting in my room, looking out the window
Try to hold it back, that compulsory frown
Clouds rolling in — rolling over my heart
Rain in my veins, weather plays a big part
I try and I try not to get overcome
To get rid of this headache, I just need the sun
Wake up the next day — the right side of bed
The sun is shining through my window pane
This day seems better with this sunny weather
Craniums clear feeling totally sane
Sun is shining — darkness gone with no trace
A glide in my stride and a smile on my face
I’m at my best when there is sun
When there is darkness, the sun overcomes
