Rise of the Phoenix

The time has come, I won’t look back
And if I do, I won’t regret
The change of seasons has found its way to me
Every leaf has to separate from its tree
I will go wherever, no matter how far
Nothing lasts forever, not even the stars
And if I die, I’ll not be afraid
A young bird will be flying, and I will release my shade
I had to learn that letting loose is a part of life
And if it hurts, I know that my heart will survive
For all the treasures that I have to leave behind
New ones will lead me back to peace of mind
