Footprints in the snow
We’re drunk and singing carols walking home
Arm in arm with noses numb from cold
Houses shining bright
They’re dressed from head to toe in coloured lights
To chase away the darkest night
Whether it’s spent with family or friends
Or getting drunk alone again
Lunch at home or dawn the pub
Takeaway or homemade grub
Everybody spread some cheer
