Crossing the deep night
Which cradles visions I walk
Along the dark shores
Only shadows listen to my steps
The sun has fallen and hope has fled far away
Here fortune’s wheel does not turn
All doors are closed
But, when owls begin to call
I raise the torch to the sky
So, the moon and stars will shine again
I will call the breeze
To scatter on the fields
The gold of daffodils
Roses on hedges vibrant
Like flaming stones
Ejected by craters
