Rejection

No problems or worries in my life
Just smooth sailing in my sights
But every time I turn my back
Everything just falls apart
Try to take these things in strides
But my feelings I just can’t, I can’t hide
I’m not the one to lay down and die
But I’m not afraid to cry
I can’t let these things get me down

In time all things will turn around
But it hurts and I feel so betrayed
But I know in time it all just fades away

Look to the future, for the calm after the storm
