I thought i knew her well
But who can ever tell what kind of love
A wild heart might bring

With the newness of springtime she came to me
Misty eyes that saw through me
Understanding the man underneath
And sympathising with my need
Flowers and butterflies could never compare
With the natural beauty i found in her
Sharing thoughts not quite spoken we realised
We had to grow
