Me and my girls took a ride to that state line
Right on the outskirts of town
Where we go on a Friday night to dance and just hang out
Then out of the blue
He came through
That door with a Tennessee hat
Those cowboy boots and Wrangler jeans and a smile that set me back
He’s a Tennessee boy
And I’m from Missouri
First time he smiled
There was no way to cure me
Just like that I fell in love
Craziest thing I ever heard of
Now I can’t get him off of my mind
It wasn’t too hard to read between the state lines

He came over and he told me hi
I must admit I was surprised
From that moment I was lost in his eyes
Was nothing I could disguise
He asked me to dance
And he grabbed my hand to the floor
And he led the way
He spun me around and around
While he melted my heart away
