I tried to call up Mr. ignorant
The secretary said he’d gone to lunch
So I’m metting Mr. arrogant
To introduce him to my one inch punch
He’s been working hard all day
Working very hard avoiding phone calls
He’s been busy doing nothing
Busy busy doing nothing at all
The front page photo story had a price
But he knew it paid to advertise
Now he’s bought the good reviews
He’s gonna hype it on the airwaves too
He couldn’t even play or sing
He had no real talent for anything
Still you wait for the opinion
Of a conceited failed musician
Sitting in his chair all day
Polishing his own enormous ego
An over paid piece of nothing
But he wouldn’t spend a second with you
