Out The Door

I don’t want you, I don’t need you
And I certainly don’t love you anymore
I’m just trying to keep from crying
The moment that you walk out the door
The cards are on the table
The deal is up and gone
No heartache lasts forever
For they eventually move along
At least that’s what I’ve told myself
At times repeatedly
The only one I’m fooling here is me
Remembering all the good times
May show us what went wrong
Mistakes were never spoken of

How different things would be
