But you talk as if it really was
I took the blame

You thought you’d take all that you want
It’s a shame
And for all of us
It ricochets on
You can see it in their eyes
That they don’t know weather to laugh or cry
In my way it was a foolish game
No where in this sorry affair
Is there anything like an excuse
Here I am now so embarrassed for you
And somehow ashamed of myself
What you did was wrong
You can paint it any shade you want
But no colour finds me relief.
