On the streets of the night
In the pale moonlight
The birds have all flown
Mother has called her children home
There’s a girl with a song
Who’s life has gone wrong
She wanders alone
In the laneways til dawn
Though years have passed
The night winds cast
Strange memories
Vague feelings in flight
