in light of all that‘s happened here
I refrain from looking back
afraid of finding someone else
in darkness hides another one
with scars and bloodshot eyes
trying to believe in anything I say
my mother said
god, what have you done?

where does it bleed from, my friend?
when I look at all my flaws I find
that no-one‘s here but me it took me quite a while to see the light
in blindness I have stormed
disregarding there‘s a war
