Stranded

In waves I’m trying
To find my way back home.
Stranded at the Gods' will,
Deceived by their false hopes.
And I stay down…
Been to Hell and back again…
Lost the wind to sail me home…
No one left but myself…
But they won’t just let me die.

White shores I see once more,
I’m stranded once again…
But this is not my land,
I do not know this sand…
Nymphs attend to me every day
(I do not care for this, I do not think it bliss),
But my mind is far away
(set on the land I crave, here I am just a slave).
Beauty incarnate Kalypso let go because I’d rather die.
