Running down a Labyrinth II

Time’s running too fast again,
She sits and wonders why.
She once again feels like the bird
That wasn’t free to fly.
Everything once clear to him
Is blurred before his sight.
He once again feels like the mole
That never knew the light.
She won’t say that she loves him;
She simply doesn’t feel that way.
He won’t say that he loves her;
He simply doesn’t feel that way.
Walls start to build between them;
They now won’t hear what the other says.
They’ll run down the labyrinth again.
Memories catching up with her
That she learnt to forget.
Everything now seems a lie;
She sinks in deep regret.
The fight he once fought with himself
Now decides to stop by.
He doesn’t feel the strength required,
He weeps and starts to cry.
She won’t say that she loves him;
She simply doesn’t feel that way.

Walls start to build between them;
They now won’t hear what the other says.
They’ll run down the labyrinth again.
Everything’s lost its appeal…
The cage now opens up.
She walks inside and locks the door…
She’s lost her way through life…
Nothing really matters
Anymore to him today.
The ground takes him away again…
