The Growing Mirror

My heart is the place
Where darkness is born
And most of my days
Are just memories by now
On a distant shore
The place where I am resting
Sometimes I let them out
Following the whispers of the night
Terrible pain is chasing me
My exhausted eyes turn to smoke
Measuring the time with my shadow
That is creeping like a snakeskin
I became one with the anger
I can’t look at the sky
Gazing at that growing mirror
Who’s shaking under my feet
I’m creeping through the branches of the darkness
Chasing the daylight with heavy rain
I raised my iced hand
Like a frozen mountain’s top
The clouds are coming
And I obey the deadly coldness
