Here we are, near or far from the places we’re going
Is there some way of knowing where we are?
Talk out loud to a cloud in the sky or a stranger
If you talk there’s a danger I might hear you
Should I believe what you say, believe what you mean?
Are the words that I hear they words that they seem?
Tell me how it will be, do I only hear me?
