The policeman, the fireman, anyone who can
help me get through this situation
the crazyman, the holyman, don’t you understand
i’m caught up in this messed up situation
now i’m out here
and i’m looking
for some random caring
now i’m lying alone, deep down here in louisiana
wonder where or how or even what did i do wrong
not enough letters, not enough phone calls, there is only so much i can do
to keep you from thinking
i know people make mistakes, but you messed up pretty bad
most people spend their whole lives looking just for what we had
but now i’ve got a brand new life, with a souped-up shiny ego
i got way over you with my tweaked out point of view
