Deficient in body, depraved in soul
A sterile spirit with unholy goals
«O Lord, in churches when I preach
I deliver a scornful speech»
Christ’s holy work

Stir them to devotion, pray for their sins

Crammed full of cloth and fake vestige
As I confess… Radix malorum est cupiditas»
Wretched impure ghoul
Masquerading as trustworthy
Looks deceive, «I am The Pardoner
I will preach against the vice
Which that I use, o avarice
Fearing me
Now take heed and part with gold»
