What Good Is My Virtue

Hear me now, I cannot rescind,
Do you love your son? Or do you chase the wind?
Hear me now, I know where I’ve been,
digging in the ground and harvesting sin,
everyone lives in fear of hell
but that is just a threat to keep
you in your cell until you realize
the great big difference between what you heard,
and how it really ends, It lingers till this day,
the love in my heart hasn’t been taken away,
but what good is my virtue… when no one can hear what I say.
