When that thing went down we all knew

This life can be so unkind

Glow like radium
Show up like a natural disaster
Disappear like a setting sun
We fall down like autumn leaves
We rise up with a gust of wind
Cry not for the bare limbs of trees
Come spring they’ll be full again
