27 Stories

I don’t want to become something I’m running from
I just want to be free to play hide and seek
Crash and burn in the ground without making a sound
Is that so hard to believe or is it just me
And I just want to fall 27 stories and not recall
And I just want to climb 27 stories I can’t find
And I don’t mind if you don’t follow along
I’ve been washing these hands through the gravel and the sand
Bloodied palms and dirtied knees leaves my soul empty
Can you hear the shots ring out, I need to find another route
Some place where the snow falls like tears out in the hall.
