I wrote this song last summer when you were a lunatic, when you always kept a
bottle in your purse. I loved the way you would dance. You’d swing your soul
for the world to see. You looked like the naked sun some nights.
With your hair in your eyes; I couldn’t if I tried.

I swore you could fly if you put your mind to it right. And part of me still
wishes you’d try.
