I smile to each room that I enter
And am aware of choosing not to destroy
And meanwhile back at central command
The vague ache of being human takes it’s stand
The pits and tangles of patience and strength
The blessed blaze of reckless, senseless, meaningless choices made
I still have those who know I’m full of shit and love me anyways
And all I get to walk away with is knowing this’ll all hit you someday
So I smile to each room I enter
