Chasing Thunder

A mammoth in the ice around her eyelids
A coward caught his fingers
Red with roses
I don’t want to sleep with snakes around my bed
But I will roam through ruins of a heart
I used to frequent the devils' around the corner
He’s got a glass of water
And I will always want what I can’t have
Some of us will wander
Always chasing thunder under the blue sky
A hurricane crept through the gate
Unnoticed the angels sung along with the commotion
Guess I took to much but I build this place for us
Don’t you see that all the best is worth the worst to notice
But the devils' around the corner
