Have you ever tried to get away
When every move you make is restrained
Trying to balance what you want with what’s expected of you
Can’t overlook the consequences due to your new circumstances
My thoughts are mine to a point til i feel inclined to be you
Wouldn’t you like to be alone
Wouldn’t you rather stay at home
Wouldn’t it be nice to wake up free
Without any sense of responsibility
Do you ever get tired of the same old place
And seeing that same old face
You need to find some place to go
And leave your whereabouts unknown
