A Little Too Different

Its so crazy bein' me
That I truly did believe, that I would live to see me livin' my dream that I
would be the first of my kind
But it hurts, sometimes
What I sacrifice to live this life
To get to this point where I’m on some sort of brink
But mentally I feel like I’m about to sink,
and theres no turning back
My only option is to rap
Then I dropped out of college to follow this path
Theres a madden of the math
how eleven years have passed
I’ve been holding on to a dream that has been scratched
The medes going no where when I’m everybodys hero, but the labels say no people
watching my video
Emailing me about how I saved their life
Listening to me makes them feel alright,
That it’s okay to be different from what they see
And my music validates them and puts them at ease
I am, a little too different from them
So then they don’t think I can, fit in on the television, and sell my music
But when they realise that my music sells itself, cause I’m not like everybody
else
So I’ll be gone and I wont need their help, I wont take their help
There comes a time in your life when you gotta make a choice
When you know it might get wet, but it’s really only moist
When it rains you know it pours
It’s like a mental war,
When it’s good it is great
Thats what I’m in it for
For the people that are stuck
Near their down, and out of luck
That are aided and are lonely,
To get them off their rut
Or it least off a peace for a moment
