Well the of the party up and died
So everybody sat down and tried to cry
While the ambulance went staggering down the street
The sirens scream, the cities, the punched dried up and gave up
What are we going to do?
Now that he’s not here
To make fun of me and you
Well, everyone’s immortal when they’re drunk
And he’d be damned if he would be an exception
But damn, they guess he is, can you hold this while I piss
My will go up when they trace this in my blood
Jesus Christ, I can’t believe my eyes
Everytime I get down feeling good
Somebody goes off and dies
here’s a toast to this guy we love the most
To see past out and instead of us, a distorted corpse on a couch
He’s gone for good, he won’t be back
Fell asleep a heart attack
Well, legend says he sure could tell a joke
He and he would laugh at you if you were throwing up
And he never had any money, but he always had the liquor
They said don’t worry about Jack, kid, his blood is thicker
Better sorry than safe in this case
