Silver Hill

Being that i am
Caught and condemned
How far can i go
Now that the whole foundation is old
How long till it folds
The color is back
But closer to black
I wish i could steal the bloom
Off some lazy flower
And return it to our empty room
That ghost is on my back
How can i sleep when the bed is so weak
And likely to collapse
November’s outside
All the leaves are untied
I can’t sit and watch them fall
With nowhere to land
I should offer my hand
To them all
I want to bathe in that water now
