Well the grass is growing
The rivers are flowing
Everyone’s breathing air
Dogs are barking
Birds are flying
No one seems to care
Drunks are stumblin'
Footballs are fumblin'
The sun is still in the sky
Why is it always me
To be the one that sees
We’re all about to die
Call God and make amends
Beginning of the end

There once was a race of wise people
Who were way ahead of their time
And they predicted just about everything
Except their own demise
Now, I don’t to cause an alarm
Or fill the air full of dread
But they scribbled some symbols
In a cave somewhere
