I am always on the hunt
For trouble and opportunity
You don’t know the wrong I have done

I got my start at the bottom of the pile
Another grunt to take the shite
I just smiled as I did what I was told

Right from the start they called me banjo boy
Even though I didn’t play
They lived a life of tricks behind my back
But I could see.
Then one day they put a hurt on me
We all know how kids can be
I asked them once «please don’t do that to me»
And I didn’t ask again.
