Scholastically speaking, I wasn’t the model student
But still tried out for basketball
I blamed my teachers, for my general lack of concentration
But really it was in my mind (mind)
My parents' seats weren’t in the bleachers for my graduation
I made it out in my own time

Growing up, I got used to laughs
Only JanSport really had my back
I came into the world an outcast
I didn’t dress the same
I didn’t act the same
But the popular kids
Peaked around 17
And the only peaking I did
Was looking for a fuck to give
Cause it’s easy to be all that
If college didn’t work out
They had a fallback
Born with the middle name
Added to the trust fund
Me, I was born with my middle finger up
Holes in my clothes
And my sense of normal fucked
I wasn’t a bad kid
