It sprung,
Spurning every border.
A supreme plague,
A fateful appointment.
On and on, (on and on)
The vortex, (wheeled again)
And again, (we soldiered on).
Knowledge, (knowledge)
Sired ignorance.
We thought we were wide awake, sane! we slept in chaos.
Led astray by unsound apprehensions,
Despite our many shepherds.
Is our path obedience to so-called saviors?
The seal despair is stamped on our foreheads,
We pleaded innocence and progress.
A fable, a deceiving tale,
Decorous and refined, we buried all scruple.
But every fear has a well-known taste,
Isolation, confinement are suffocation.
Crack the glass walls of your bliss,
You can’t avoid ache or dysfunction.
Sense all dualities in your emotions,
They’re many-faced, a storm to master.
Superficial (and trivial)
Order is equal to
Manic disorder, (complete)
Full confusion.
Impending doom was marching on earth.
Trapped in the dance of distress,
Mesmerized by a deathly waltz.
Cold in the embrace of ghosts
