Through empty fields
With everyone to think of but himself
He didn’t know what’s been;
He couldn’t even scream
Shrugging, he said

Getting dark
The day had died
But up above, the fallen stars awoke
While lost in time and space
He turned and saw this face
In silence
It just took his breath away

Stood in awe
At what he’d seen
The girl, she didn’t have to say a word
She led him by her smile
