The time has come to see
What has become of me
Nothing but living scars
I am filled with rage
Because I’m older in age
And I feel so stuck
Everything I’ve ever done
I never feel like I have won
Failing at everything
Shame and guilt is all I feel
All this pain, all this time, I feel like I am always blind
Honesty painful truth, all I want to do is try
The time has come to see
What has become of me
Nothing
Failure
I just try to keep my head up
Or I will wither and die
I’m tired of failing, I must stand strong and proud
I can’t be defeated, I won’t let myself down
