House of Cards

Through my telescope, I can analyze
What I don’t understand, I judge and criticize
From my hiding place in the loneliness

Living in a time that is so hard to understand
Watching everybody stake and claim
the Promised Land

We’re living in a house of cards
It’s not ignorance, I have really tried
To see every side and put away my pride
From my solitude in the dark and cold
Now my Shangri-La seems unreachable
