Fair Winds & Following Seas

My thoughts keep travelling
While I stare into the distance
I‘m meeting with my fears of the unknown
I shiver as I watch them dancing
Around my bonfire soul
All that once felt intimate to me
Has gone so dreary over all the years
I want change I‘m longing to set sail
And reach the shores
My thoughts already know
The sea could get real rough and stormy
But that will not stop me from
Getting rid of all I had to weather
Being alive means moving on
