Everything breathes in the springtime
We all come out of our shells
Order the song of the wind chimes
Kissing by the wishing well
And I dreamed
Ice was wrapped all over me
I couldn’t see
Anything in front of me
And all was lost

Close all the shops up on Main Street
Your soul is worth a half day
The sun has arrived and wants to meet
Us by the glorious bay

You were running next to me
Through city streets
With everyone abandoning
Their office seats
To see the sea and stay
So we pass by the too well groomed graveyards
And the pub with the pinball machines
Though spaces there someday will be ours
No one has a clue what it means
And I see
Your shadow walking next to me
The sidewalk gleams
Music’s swimming through the trees
Like everything
