With my favorites Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes
I was making mix tapes on a Saturday
Waiting for a song on the radio to play
Living in the 80s it was so much fun and so care free
How I miss those days of long ago
Flippin' through the records of my parent’s collection
Looking for something to play
Dropping down the needle, cranking up the volume
Then dancing the day away
Turning on the TV, the one-and-only TV
Looking for a favorite show
The Dukes of Hazard is coming on tonight with Daisy, Luke and Bo
Just 3 channels if you hold the antenna
Turn it just a little left
Little House on the Prairie at 8 o’clock
Then a TV movie comes up next
Living in the 80s, only in the 80s
To some it might sound cheesy
But living in the 80s, only in the 80s
Was oh so much more easy
Someone is calling, gotta run downstairs
To the only phone to see who’s there
It’s my friend down the street and he wants to bike
So I tell my mom and we ride 'til night
