The Buffalo

The sky, all cut up by the trails of jets gone by
(So you wonder why)
The land, all dug up by the caterpillar man

The trees, all cut down to build a town for me
(All this grass is green)
How can this be good? I wanna know
What it looked like in this place before we took the buffalo
And cut it up to one
And thought to call it home
