Almost Midnight

She sat and cried
Thinking of the last fight and why she did nothing
She is surrounded by bruises and blood
At midnight that’s done
She reaches for the gun
And looking on to when she’ll be faced
With him eye to eye

Midnight glory

She gets out the car

As he lies there asleep
